Scratchy?
I really liked the tunes but there seems to be this frequent scratchy noise in the back that I find very irritating. Worst is that I only hear it from the left side of my speaker/headphones. Minus that, I would have enjoyed this a lot more.
there must be something wrong with your speakers/headphones because on mine it works fine and also if i didnt add the scratchy noise the music sounds empty but thanks for the review

Well done
I liked it overall. It was pleasant to my ears. I wished that there were more piano in the middle but that would just be a personal preference. Nice work!!

Lots of room for improvement.
Graphics & Sound:
Graphics are nice. I like the vibrant colors and the cartoony style. Reminds me a lot of Final Fantasy Tactics style. I live the background detail where it is CG style and it contrasts the pixel sprite of the monsters and character. The bgm was super repetitive, I was hoping for new themes every area. I ended up turning the bgm off.
Game play:
Game play is very simple. The interface is very straight forward and easy to use. Maneuvering your character around is simple. Move around with WASD or arrow keys then you point and click at what you want to attack and pick up. Skills would have to be manually clicked and you have to switch between 2 pages of skills, physical and magical. It isn't too hard to level and requires a little bit of grinding.
Pet System:
The pet system is interesting, I like that it is your companion through out the game. I didn't like the fact that my pet did not gain any exp through quests. I did not like that my pet did not regenerate health over time. I know you can get items to restore health but it's a living thing after all, why wouldn't it regenerate health over time? I like how there is a hatchery but it takes an awful long amount of time for an egg to hatch. By the time the egg hatches, I'd have other eggs from better areas. The pet system does not keep up with the pace of the game.
Quest System:
Quests are pretty straight forward. New quests each area but the objectives are pretty much the same. A variety of different tasks can make it more interesting, but regardless, the system does it's job.
Equipment & Inventory:
I like how you can equip your items and it would show on your character. A major problem was that the inventory is too limited in space. I hate the fact that my items would take up inventory space when they are equipped. It would be nicer if the items would go on a certain equipment slot instead of hogging up the inventory space. My equipment would take up 5 slots, shards would take up another 2-3 and that leaves very little slots for loot, eggs and usables.
Pacing: As I mentioned above, my pet does not keep up with the pace of the game. Many times, I have to stay in the area and grind for gold in order to survive the next area better. I'd also have to do the same in order to level up my pet. Monsters are scaled pretty poorly and it is very difficult to survive especially the areas that spawn many aggressive mobs that are close together. You are left to huddle in a corner to slowly regenerate your HP especially if you are too far away from town.
Terrain:
I have to say the terrain of this game is horrid and the same goes for path-finding. Sometimes I would click on a monster to attack it then I'd stutter in the same place before attacking it. My pet would be right next to a monster and instead of attacking it right away, it goes around it and attacks it from the other side. There are times when my pet wouldn't even attack because the paths are too narrow. Other times would be that I am attacking a mob, my pet would path-find and go around to attack it from behind thus aggroing more mobs along the way. That is very annoying. I know that it is important to make interesting terrain, but areas that only 1 unit can fit through makes the pet system a bit useless. Other times things like a monster is attacking me then another one aggros on my pet, so I switch targets hoping to stun the other one or else risk my pet dying. But my character would path-find all the way around and waste a lot of time. This is really a down point to this game.
Overall:
I enjoyed the game and it has kept me entertained for a good 6 hours+. There is a lot of room for improvement so I certainly would love to see a Castaway 2 in the making.
Suggestions:
- Different music for each area.
- More inventory space.
- Equipment slots.
- Better terrain.
- Spaced out monster spawns.
- Hidden treasure or secrets.
- Gender options, why can't we play as a girl?
- Allow pet's HP to regenerate over time.
- Better pet healing items.
- Perhaps a pet equipment system. :)

Survived!!
Great game. I love the narrative. Only problem were a few spelling/grammar mistakes that made it harder to read. No need for graphics, it's great the way it is.

Awesome!!
Just what a TD game should. I like the aspect that there is an expert score that you can get, it just makes everything more challenging.
I love the shortcut keys, but I wish that there was a shortcut to upgrade the towers.
